- Fatimid Foundation has appointed M/S. Alhamd Shariah Advisors Private Limited as ‘Shariah Advisor’ to supervise the collection and utilization of Zakat Funds in accordance to the Shariah Laws.
- Our advisor regularly monitors our procedures for collection and utilization of Zakat Funds, they have also issued a ‘Shariah Compliance Certificate’ on this matter as well see attached.
- As prescribed by the advisors, Zakat funds collection and utilization are carried out under the ‘Wakala Model’, where ‘We’ act as a Wakeel of Mustahiq Patients with their permission to collect and spend the zakat funds on them.
- We have Patient Welfare Officer in every center by whom our patients are interviewed and observed thoroughly to assess their eligibility for Zakat as guided by the Advisors.
- Zakat Funds are segregated from other funds as we maintain separate bank accounts for Zakat Collection and these funds are utilized only after the approval of the Shariah Advisors.
- We prepare monthly statement of Zakat Eligible Expenses and submit it to the Advisors for approval before using it for operations.
